The “EUropean LABoratories of Role-Play Gaming to promote school social and emotional culture”
EuLab RPG is a two-year Erasmus+ project, from December 2023 until November 2025 aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of secondary and tertiary students aged 13-19.
The project aims to increase the importance to be paid to the empowerment of students and their well-being, while enhancing teachers' ability to mitigate risk factors for mental illness and strengthen protective measures.
Finally, the project envisions developing Tabletop Role-Playing game activities that incorporate metacognitive moments to enhance students' emotional and personal skills, while fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment.
By incorporating Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TRPG) into the
school curriculum, the project seeks to equip students with essential emotional and social skills while supporting teachers in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. Through TRPG activities, students will develop metacognitive abilities, fostering personal growth and resilience.
The primary outcome is a comprehensive school curriculum to guide schools in integrating Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TRPG) for improved student mental health.
The second package will develop teacher training and resources for implementing Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TRPGs). Effectively in the classroom.
The final work package will focus on piloting and evaluating the project's outcomes, in real-world settings, gathering feedback from various stakeholders.
